I Fell In Love.

I fell in love! With maternity sessions that is. Back in November I had rented a lens and wanted to test it out. I posted on my personal Facebook looking for anyone wanting maternity photos done. In my many photography groups I am in, I see these incredible maternity photos...not to mention the dresses! And I fell in love with them. There is something so beautiful and pure about it. I mean, there is a baby (or more) inside of those women. Words can't describe how amazing that is. Looking at those photos I said to myself I want to do that! Most women in some way or another, get newborn photos done, even birth. But, some don't consider or even know about getting photos done before the baby arrives! I hope to help change that.

I had posted on my personal Facebook Page that I was looking for someone who wanted Maternity photos done, but didn't have any plans or the finances to get any done. I had rented a couple of lenses for a different client session and wanted to get as much use out of it as I could. One of my friends had a friend that wanted to do it. Her name is Bekah and look how adorable she is! She lives in Rexburg so it was a bit of a drive for me. I had wanted to shoot at the sand dunes up there so we planned for that. Now mind you...this was in November. Thankfully I arrived early, because the whole area was buried under snow! Deep snow. They mentioned driving a Prius, so I knew we weren't getting up into the dunes. Rexburg is not an area I am familiar with, but they knew of a little park near by that they thought would work. If you have ever happened to read my travel blog I'm sure you know what happened next. Naturally...I got lost. Trying to find where they lived, yeah I got lost.

Eventually I found it, and I followed them to the little park. It was a cute little area with lots of mostly dead for the winter trees. Since our shoot, Bekah has had her sweet little baby boy. Bekah and her husband are such a cute couple, I am so happy for their little family.
